Frank and his team were superb to work with! Our inspector, Frank Hopton did the inspection for our first home purchase. He was extremely thorough and explained everything to us as we went through the process, answering any questions we had. Being new to the process this was really helpful and important to us. Frank checked every accessible nook and cranny, all systems and appliances. Our report was very detailed and will serve as a complete punch list for us to reference as we tackle projects post closing. He also gave recommendations on companies to utilize in repairs/updates needed. He was great to work with and we feel very comfortable and well informed on the current status of the house. Highly recommend and would use again in the future without hesitation.

Frank and his team are expert home inspectors -- their knowledge of structure and systems is both deep and wide, and we got all the information we needed prior to our purchase. The best thing about working with Frank is that he genuinely cares and takes time to explain the situation, the potential causes and recommended solutions. Some questions came to us a few days after the inspection so we emailed Frank and he responded quickly and thoroughly. A true professional. Highly recommended.

Working with Frank helped me feel much better about buying the house I had bid on. We are now prepared with a list of things to do, both short term and long term, that will prolong the life of the house and keep us comfortable as homeowners. I would highly recommend Old House Home Inspectors for your home inspection needs. Buying a home is obviously a big decision, and one that requires knowledge of relevant facts. Frank and his team were consummate professionals, accommodating, knowledgeable and timely in meeting our information needs. Jared and Frank did a very thorough job and I was really impressed with their expertise! They provided me with a list of issues and rated them on a scale of how serious they were. I also learned about some unique features of my house since it was near what used to be a farm. I had a previous home inspected with another inspection company and they didn’t do nearly as thorough a job.

Frank and his team are the most thorough and great to work with home inspectors! My colleague referred me to them after years ago I worked with a home inspector who did not notice glaring things. Had Frank inspected that home, I'd have either negotiated a lot with the seller, or not bought that home.Frank and his team are very knowledgeable, and notice things that could be costly items in the short and long term. Especially in a market where buyers may feel less empowered than usual, Frank is a strong buyer's ally. If it's a great home, he'll tell you. If it's not, he'll show you and inform you.Their fee is very reasonable for the knowledgeable, thorough work they do. And they're super nice and explain things well.
